This is a rewarding role which involves working face to face with some of the most in need people in our society: Manchester's homeless community. The role involves identifying support needs for eligible clients and making appropriate referrals into temporary accommodation.
This role is crucial to reducing rough sleeping in Manchester and to ensuring that homelessness is as brief as possible and non reoccurring.
This is an extremely rewarding but also at times challenging role which offers excellent opportunities for knowledge building and training. The rota involves both day and evening shifts and occasional weekend work, so there is a 6.7% flexibility payment for this.

You will be a flexible and motivated worker who can deal with rapidly changing situations and enjoy working in a fast paced environment and using a holistic approach. You will be able to both liaise with clients who are rough sleeping, agencies and mangers about ongoing issues and work collaboratively to ensure rough sleepers are getting correct support into different accommodation options.
