About the role
This role is responsible for developing and coordinating key aspects of the Special Collections outreach programme for the UCL East campus and for nurturing the department's links to local community groups, schools and the internal community at UCL East. This involves working with the Head of Outreach to develop and deliver programming for young people, community programming and supporting the delivery of academic modules. This work is both on campus at the UCL East campus, at the Bloomsbury campus and out in the community within Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and Newham.
This is an internal secondment role/Acting up, available to current UCL staff only.
Eligible UCL staff will have until 12th February 2026 to be considered for this role.
This is a fixed-term role until 1st June 2026 in the first instance.
Manual handling training is required to carry out this role. Training will be provided.
An acceptable Enhanced DBS check is required to carry out this role.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site. Please note, some off-campus delivery will be required, and some out of hours delivery will be required. Time of in lieu and travel expenses will be provided.
