Competitive rates of pay available subject to candidates experience and skill set. Rate of pay will increase following satisfactory performance.
Working hours:
8:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday with two 30 min breaks. 40hrs a week. Overtime available during the week paid at 50% extra.

Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking to appoint an additional Overhead Crane Operator/ Yard Operative to strengthen the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a stable and varied position with an opportunity to enhance their skills.
This role is single site based and is responsible for the movement of the precast panels around the 27-acre manufacturing site. The precast panels are moved to different locations to complete the manufacturing process and ultimately to their despatch area. The precast panels are then transported by our external carrier to their installation sites across the UK.
Job Requirements
To operate the Overhead/Gantry Cranes (previous experience would be a distinct advantage but it is not necessary as full training will be given).
To load and unload pre-cast concrete panels onto the trailers and skids.
Use ladders on regular basis and work at height is a necessity.
Current or previous FLT licences would be an advantage.
Previous shunting experience would be beneficial as some responsibilities in this area may be available.
Great communication skills to ensure the precast panels are moved to the correct locations.
And use of initiative regarding the placement of panels at their various destinations.
Initial induction, on the job training, and PPE will be provided.
