Packaging Development & Technical Coordinator
, to coordinate and support all
packaging development activities
within New Product Development and Existing Product Development processes, ensuring timely delivery of artwork, repro-file approvals, & packaging components. The role focuses on driving packaging feasibility, supplier engagement and the seamless execution of packaging projects from concept to launch while maintaining accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.
Main duties:
NPD Meetings , Minutes & NPD Critical Path Updates
Packaging Critical Path Update - Internal
Packaging Critical Path Update - External with Suppliers
Gate Meetings & NPD Build sign-off
Packaging Technical Handover Completion
RBF, TRF, and RIR Customer form completion - NEW PRODUCTS ARTWORK PREPARATION
Pre-Artwork (PAM) Meetings, minutes & Supplier invites
Packaging Feasibility Trials and Report Completion
Artwork & Repro File Approval
Pre-production Meetings / Trial support
Wash-up / Post-launch Meetings & Feedback Retention
Cutter Retention & Share
Tool Plan Retention
Perforation/Conversion confirmation retention & communication to suppliers
Supplier Artwork Questionnaire completions - New Artwork Set up
Packaging Sample Organisation from suppliers.
New Supplier Re-search & Packaging Innovation Show Attendance
Packaging Specification/DoC - Declaration of Compliance /Line Drawings, Retention, Sign-off, Monitoring & Updates.
Pre-printed Packaging Intake Checks, Verification & Sample Retention
SEDEX Monitoring & Supplier Communications
Compliance Monitoring & Updates: Statement of Compliance, BRCGS Certification, Migration, PSAP & Appendices/ SSAQ
Customer Audit Support - Deputy
Traceability Exercise
Weekly Bill of Material Update
Weekly Packaging Calculator Update
Packaging Hold Process Management - Hold Query Action
Packaging Non-Conformance Management: Raise with suppliers, organisation of collection, investigation report review and data log, chasing credits and outstanding NCR's.

Work Instructions
Invoice management - Month End & Year End invoice reporting.
On call weekend packaging support
Who we are looking for:
Good standard and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is
essential
, namely:
Excel
- navigating the interface, entering & formatting data, using basic formulas like SUM & AVG, creating simple charts, sorting & filtering data
Word
- creating, editing and formatting text documents, using features of different font styles, creating bulleted and numbered lists and using basic page formatting options

Salary:
Up to 29,000 per annum, paid monthly
