Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Prepare packaging materials such as pallets, boxes and skids for painted products.
2. Ensuring that all packaging is clean, undamaged, and suitable for the specific type of paint being packaged.
3. Unload paint stillages with all painted components.
4. Collaborate with the paint shop team to prioritise and coordinate packing tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production schedules.
5. Inspect paint products before packaging to ensure that they meet the required quality standards.
6. Accurately label each packaged paint product with the appropriate information, including product name, batch number, colour, and quantity.
7. Assist in managing inventory levels by keeping track of packaged products, recording quantities, and reporting any discrepancies to supervisors or inventory control personnel.
8. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring that packaging materials, tools, and equipment are properly stored and readily available for use.
9. Use of a forklift truck to move completed kits to the designated drop zones.
11. To adhere to SFM Engineering's policies and procedures.
12. To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.
