Job Description

We are looking for an energetic , experienced, highly motivated Packhouse Supervisor to join the family cut flower business based in West Pinchbeck

In this role you will work closely to assist the Packhouse manageress, to help us meet our high quality standards and customer demands.

What you will be doing,

Leading a team of up to 20 staff and meet production targets as well as a high level of attention to quality standards to meet customer orders, specification's and expectations.

Supervising and running all packhouse equipment ,which includes flower packing lines, sleeving machine ,labelling & bucket filling machines.

Managing and rotating product in the cold store to ensure freshness.

Conducting routine cold store checks , maintaining accurate records.

Performing packaging stock control and records of inventory

Conducting Record keeping of production runs, customer specs, product stock , packaging usage , cleaning and maintenance.

What we are looking for,

Experience in the cupflower industry is essential.

The ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines in fast paced environment.

A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attention to detail , and a commitment to producing high quality work

Experience with record keeping and stock control

Candidates must be adaptable to work in other areas of business when required.

Weekly hours 39 & up to 55 - 60 hours in peak production weeks.

Saturday working is also required.

Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day and always paid for weekend & bank holiday working.

Pay: 13.80-17.25 per hour
