Duties

Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' progress and respond promptly to any changes in their condition. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for paediatric patients. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in paediatric nursing.

Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse. Proven experience in paediatric nursing or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of anatomy and child development principles. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in patient care documentation. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when required.
