A Message from Your Mentor
"My clinical experience was all focused on critical care nursing as a Band 5 nurse. Eleven years ago, I made the decision to move into the private sector, working as a nurse manager in domiciliary care, mainly with children with complex health needs. To this day, I feel privileged that I have been able to support so many clients, their families, and the support team. There is nothing more rewarding than watching your clients over time achieve their life goals and supporting the team with professional development. I had excellent support and guidance from my mentor throughout my time as a nurse manager, and this cemented the foundation on which I built my mentorship and leadership skills as my career developed."
