Overview



Peaky Digital is seeking an experienced Paid Media Lead to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step up into a leadership role, where you'll manage a team of junior PPC strategists while overseeing the planning, implementation, and optimisation of Paid Media campaigns across multiple platforms.

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital, you'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting campaign issues, ensuring the smooth workflow of Paid Media operations, and managing and fostering the development of junior team members. As the Paid Media Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of client campaigns, helping to drive significant results for both clients and the agency.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a leadership role, with a strong foundation in PPC campaign management and the ability to think both strategically and tactically. You should be comfortable managing a variety of Paid Media channels, including Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok, and have a hands-on approach to guiding the team and optimising campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities:



Team Leadership and Workflow Management:



Lead, mentor, and manage the Paid Media team, providing guidance on campaign management, strategy development, and optimisation. Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the Paid Media team, ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently and on time. Troubleshoot and resolve any account or campaign issues, providing expert support and solutions. Ensure junior team members are continuously learning and improving through training, feedback, and hands-on involvement in campaigns

Campaign Management:



Plan, implement, and optimise Paid Media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other platforms, ensuring high performance and client satisfaction. Develop tailored strategies to drive client success, leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making. Oversee the performance of client campaigns, making adjustments to optimise results and meet KPIs. Ensure consistent quality control on all campaigns run by the team.

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:



Act as the primary specialist for key client accounts, providing strategic direction, campaign insights, and reporting. Collaborate closely with Account Managers, ensuring campaigns align with client objectives and contribute to business growth. Support clients with advanced PPC strategies and ensure they receive proactive recommendations for growth opportunities. Contribute to the development of client proposals, ensuring strategies are well-aligned with client goals.

Analysis & Reporting:



Lead the analysis of campaign performance, preparing detailed reports and insights for clients. Create forecasts and projections, tracking performance against targets and adjusting strategies accordingly. Provide regular performance updates to the Head of Digital and clients, identifying areas of opportunity and growth.

Development of Paid Media Service Offering:



Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the agency's Paid Media service offering. Stay ahead of industry trends and share knowledge with the team to drive innovation. Lead by example in embracing new Paid Media tools, strategies, and best practices.

Requirements:



This role requires the applicant to be in the Peaky Digital office 3 days per week, with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Experience:



Proven experience in managing successful Google Ads campaigns, with strong knowledge of display, search, and remarketing. Previous experience managing and mentoring a team, with a track record of developing junior team members. Experience working in an agency environment, managing multiple client accounts simultaneously. Additional experience in Meta Ads, TikTok, Microsoft Advertising, and Amazon marketing is preferred.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with both internal teams and clients. A proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail. Ability to analyse and report on campaign data, providing actionable insights and recommendations. A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to campaign optimisation.
