Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Paint Preppers to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing surfaces and components for painting.

Duties

Clean, sand, and smooth surfaces to prepare them for painting Mask off areas as required Inspect components for defects or imperfections and address them accordingly Handle and operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Assist with heavy lifting of materials or components as required Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards

Skills

Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, or sanders is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Attention to detail to ensure surfaces are properly prepared for painting Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks effectively
This position is suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills in surface preparation within a professional manufacturing setting. Prior experience with mechanical tools or previous work in a similar role would be advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
