We are seeking a dedicated and hard working individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team. This role involves preparing surfaces correctly ensuring high-quality finishes on products. The applicant will work in a factory environment and will be responsible for preparing metal for painting. No experience is necessary as full guidance on procedures will be given.
Overtime is available regularly based on work requirements and is paid at time and a half
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
Maintain an organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to preparation tasks.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new techniques.
