Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of projects.
Skills
Proficiency in construction painting techniques and methods. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to different sites. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 14.00-15.50 per hour
