We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating work. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel to various job sites.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Hang wallpaper and apply decorative finishes according to client specifications. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to discuss their requirements and provide updates on progress. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly. Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with clients and team members. Previous experience in painting and decorating is highly desirable. A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between job sites. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on project demands.

Pay: 13.69-19.65 per hour
