Job Description
Painter & Decorator required for a beautiful care home in Hamilton, Scotland.
Its a part time job for 9 hours per week.
Would you like to be a part of a warm and nurturing care home in a beautiful setting?
Apply paint, wallpaper and additional finishes to inside and outside surfaces of buildings and other areas. Utilise pre-coating agents, filling and levelling materials, and mix and match colours and textures. Read blueprints, drawings, technical specifications and material data sheets in the successful completion of assigned painting task.
Must be able to follow compound specifications for mixing of paints and painting techniques, handle huge material movement, and maintain correct record and general recordkeeping.
Essential: Knowledge of Health & Safety
Experience of general painting and decorating work
Experience of preventative maintenance programmes
Experience of liaising with external contractors
Experience in basic maintenance of Moving & handling equipment eg. Furniture
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 9 per week
Work Location: In person
