As a Skilled Engineer, you will carry out property maintenance and building services to a high standard, ensuring our clients receive reliable, professional, and customer-focused service. You will be responsible for completing jobs efficiently, maintaining health and safety standards, and upholding Snowik's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and paint internal and external surfaces to a high standard, including walls, ceilings, doors, and woodwork.
Carry out all aspects of surface preparation such as filling, sanding, priming, and sealing.
Undertake damp proofing works, including identifying causes of damp, applying appropriate treatments, and ensuring effective long-term solutions.
Use a variety of materials and techniques, including wallpapering, lining, and specialist finishes.
Conduct minor plastering, patch repairs, and redecoration following damp treatment or maintenance works.
Ensure all works comply with health & safety standards and company policies.
Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.
Liaise with clients and tenants in a polite and professional manner, ensuring satisfaction with completed works.
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely.
Carry out
general maintenance and handyman duties
when required, such as basic repairs, fixture installations, and other property upkeep tasks.
Report progress, additional work requirements, or site issues to the supervisor or office team.
Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are well maintained and used responsibly.
Essential Requirements
To join the Snowik team, you must have:
A
full UK driving license.
A
current DBS check
(or willingness to obtain one)
Public Liability Insurance.
A valid
UTR
and
National Insurance Number
, and be
CIS registered
Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear
written and verbal reports in English.
Good knowledge of
UK building materials, regulations and standards.
A proven track record of being
punctual, reliable and responsible
in your work.
