Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and decorative finishes, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for both interior and exterior projects, contributing to the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix paints and stains to achieve desired colours and finishes. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress. Ensure all workspaces are kept clean and organised throughout the duration of projects. Conduct final inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Drive to various job sites as required, adhering to all safety regulations while on the road.

Experience

Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between job sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
