Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client expectations.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Select appropriate materials and colours based on client specifications and project requirements. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on design choices. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and efficient work practices.

Skills

Proven experience in painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively. A valid driving licence is essential for travelling to different job locations. Proficiency in English is required for understanding instructions and communicating with clients. Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics to achieve desired finishes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
