We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for interior and decorative tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal of apartments .

Must have CSCS certification

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements. Repair or replace damaged plaster or drywall before painting. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within specified timeframes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress. Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Skills

Proficient in various painting techniques and applications. Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and team members effectively. Ability to drive to different job locations as required. Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair for design. Capability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
