Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating work. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential for this position, as you will be required to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Measure and cut materials accurately for decorative elements such as wallpaper or mouldings. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates on progress. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting and decorating is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence for travel between job sites. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
