Overview

We are seeking a reliable Painter's assistant/labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparation work, taping & masking for spraying, keeping work sites tidy, collecting materials and assisting painters and sprayers in new build sites.

This role offers an opportunity to work with award winning teams, providing quality finishes. A valid driving licence and good communication skills are essential for this position.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion Maintain and cleaning spray equipment Follow technical specifications and safety guidelines during all painting tasks Mixing paints Masking all windows, floors, bathrooms/kitchen etc (training provided) Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Communicate effectively with team members Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or related roles is preferred Valid driving licence is essential for travel between sites Good command of English language for clear communication with clients and team members Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and working at heights if necessary Reliable transportation to reach various work sites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
