Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and an eye for detail, with experience in construction painting and decorating. This role involves transforming spaces to enhance their aesthetic appeal while ensuring high-quality workmanship. The Decorator will work closely with clients to understand their vision and deliver exceptional results.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces with precision Collaborate with clients to determine colour schemes and design preferences Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Follow health and safety regulations at all times on site Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress Working Hours 10pm until 8am
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is preferred Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: 25.00-30.00 per hour
