We are seeking a joiner or highly trained joiners assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and/or kit manufacture, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. The successful applicant will be responsible for manufacturing the panels in their jigs, logging panel checks, cutting and packaging timbers for kits and general house keeping. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
Duties
Assemble panels and jigs
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
Log panel checks
Report on daily production output.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Skills
Proficient in joinery techniques with experience in assembling various wooden structures.
Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in the trade.
Forklift operation
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
