Paralegal (Progression Opportunities)



A fantastic opportunity for a paralegal (at least 4 years experience) to join our established and modern firm of solicitors based in Chester. The role is varied within a small busy legal practice with full training and supervision provided by the Managing Director.

You must be organised, have the ability to write well, have a keen eye for detail, and be committed to working hard to quickly progress your career.

As well as gaining invaluable experience within a busy solicitors firm, you will benefit from the opportunities provided by working on a varied caseload in numerous areas of law including family law, litigation, and private client matters.

As a Paralegal, your day to day duties will include:

Case management and progression; Creating and amending legal documents; Attending conferences and court with Counsel; Attending upon clients in person, by video conferencing and by telephone, taking messages and dealing with calls and enquiries; Preparing trial bundles; Archiving completed cases; Managing documents both online and hard copies; Filing, electronic filing, and general admin duties; Preparing correspondence and completing standard documents.
Excellent computer, legal and organisational skills are essential and experience of legal case management software (preferably LEAP) is desirable.

Key requirements



At least4 years previous legal experience in a solicitors office; Qualifying law degree or other degree with PGDL; GCSE English Language Grade B/Level 6 (or equivalent) or above; GCSE Maths Grade C/Level 5 (or equivalent) or above.
