About the role:



We have a great opportunity for a paralegal to join our Housing, Regeneration and Development (HDR) team in Leeds.


As a paralegal you will be required to assist the land acquisition team in conducting legal due diligence, to run some smaller individual matters (such as infrastructure documentation), and to deal with registration and post completion formalities.


Within this role you will be responsible for:


Investigating and reporting on title; Carrying out due diligence, including searches, and reporting on the results; Reporting on and negotiating infrastructure agreements and straightforward contracts, deeds and transfers (such as highway agreements and transfers of public open space, electricity substations, gas governors and similar utility facilities), with some client contact as appropriate, and running matters;

About you:



We're looking for an individual who demonstrates sound technical and theoretical knowledge of land law and the ability to apply this practically. You will have experience using a case-management system and working within a legal or other business environment.


Strong client-facing skills are essential, with experience of dealing with clients either independently or as part of a team. In addition, you will have undertaken and, ideally, completed the Legal Practice Course.
