The Opportunity: Corporate Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal who is self-motivated, proactive, with the ability to work independently with little supervision. If you can work methodically with great attention to detail, and thrive in a fast paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Your Role Will Involve:
Client and Matter Management
Drafting fee quotes and engagement letters.
Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures.
Assisting with anti-money laundering checks.
Managing diaries, client communications, and correspondence (by telephone, email, and in person).
Liaising with clients and third parties, including accountants, banks, Companies House and solicitors.
Handling administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, and archiving.
Being the first point of reference for new client enquiries.
Document Preparation and Review
Typing, amending, and formatting legal documents and correspondence from manuscript or copy.
Preparing and reviewing ancillary documentation and preparing sets of documents for each completed transaction.
Assisting with due diligence enquiries, including collating, indexing and reviewing the documentation.
Transactional Support
Preparing completion statements using Excel.
Creating and maintaining on-line data-rooms.
Preparing and issuing bills and dealing with related queries.
General Legal Support
Conducting legal research as required.
Assisting with historic file queries and compliance matters.
What We Are Looking For:
Previous experience of working as a Paralegal is essential (working within a corporate team is desirable)
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to follow procedural and legal protocol
A methodical approach and good time management
Excellent IT skills
Good communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positivity, adaptability and resilience
A high standard of written and spoken English

The Salary
This position offers a salary of 27,000 to 32,000 depending on experience.
