Our Vacancy
As a Paralegal, you'll manage your own caseload under the supervision of a Solicitor, handling a variety of landlord and tenant matters. You will also support Solicitors and Senior Solicitors on complex or substantial cases, offering legal advice and analysis on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Your contribution will extend to policy and procedure reviews, corporate business support, and active participation in cross-functional working groups and forums across Peabody.
You'll play a key role in delivering Legal Services' training programme and assist with special projects within the Legal, Governance and Risk teams. Your work will adhere to the highest standards of case management in line with Lexcel procedures, and you will be expected to engage in ongoing professional development to support both your growth and the wider objectives of the organisation.
You're committed to delivering outstanding customer care, value diversity, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong initiative and judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain discretion and confidentiality is essential.
You'll need to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
Your role requires a curiosity about different aspects of business and operations, empathy towards Peabody's charitable and social housing mission, and ability to form strong working relationships across all levels. A Law Degree (minimum 2:2) or equivalent qualification, along with experience in a Paralegal role, is required.
If you're passionate about making a difference through legal work and thrive in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment, we want to hear from you.
