The purpose of your Paralegal role is specified below:

ROLE PURPOSE



The role of the Paralegal will be to provide our lawyers with both legal and administrative support. The individual will be part of our paralegal team and will gain experience across a broad range of commercial and private client practice areas.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Your duties and responsibilities will differ depending on which lawyer you are working with. The type of work you do will also depend on the practice area in which you work.

These responsibilities may include (but are not exclusive to) preparing legal documents, organising case files on our case management system, conducting legal research, due diligence, document review, drafting, bundle preparation, writing articles for internal or external circulation, client, file opening, dealing with administrative queries.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS



Your role requires you to be highly organised and efficient, have strong legal research skills, be able to prioritise your workload, demonstrate a service focussed approach, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient with MS Office & Excel speedy and accurate with all legal administration, have a positive, flexible and can-do attitude to work. You'll also be expected to have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
