About the role
Moorside Legal, a key entity within APN Group, is a dynamic new law firm specialising in debt recovery. We are committed to delivering high-quality legal services, and pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support a caseload of litigated debt recovery cases from start to finish. You will work closely with a Solicitor to ensure deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded. You'll provide essential support to the Solicitor by drafting legal documents and correspondence, conducting research, and assisting with the management of key dates. Duties & Responsibilities
Support a workload of litigated debt recovery cases from inception to resolution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
Provide comprehensive support to Solicitor(s) in legal matters, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and making strategy recommendations to a Solicitor.
Conduct legal research and analysis, and staying current with relevant laws and regulations.
Assist in client communication, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Assist with ideas to develop the Case Management system.
About You
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight timescales.
Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and ability to manage own caseload.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
A minimum of 1 years' experience working in civil litigation paralegal role (ideally focused on debt recovery).
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or having equivalent experience.
A desire to progress in a legal career.
