We are currently looking for a Parcels Expert who will be integral to delivering a seamless customer experience across Lovehoney Group. As the go-to specialist for all parcel-related matters, your focus will be on optimizing delivery and return services to delight our customers while maintaining operational efficiency. In this role, you will combine your attention to detail and logistics expertise with a customer-first mindset. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a fast-paced, global e-commerce environment, all within a company that values innovation, ownership, and results.

Please note this is a fixed-term (maternity cover) role for up to 12 months.

What you will do



Stay up-to-date with global parcels market trends, carrier news and international trade, to ensure the company benefits from the latest opportunities in the market. Provide expert guidance and advice to internal teams on the procurement and management of parcel operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve transportation-related issues, such as delays, damages, and disruptions. Manage relationships with parcel shipping carriers, helping in negotiating contracts, and monitoring transportation costs. Review supplier invoices for accuracy, highlighting discrepancies and opportunities for savings. Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs), striving to continuously improve results and address shortcomings. Developing, implementing and improving transportation procedures and policies. Conduct audits and reviews to identify potential customs compliance risks and implement corrective actions. Ensure all aspects of the websites delivery & return offering is aligned with the operational capabilities and address any shortcomings.

What you should bring



Proven experience (3+ years) working with parcel carriers and international trade operations, preferably within a retail or logistics environment. Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management. In-depth knowledge of contractual negotiation, the parcel market and international trade. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and partners. Excellent communication & presentation skills to convey information effectively to non-experts and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in transportation management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently, make decisions, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. Problem-solving orientation with the ability to find solutions to challenges and strong attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
