Parent Champion Coordinator | 8206 | secondment opportunity/temporary contract to cover maternity leave until June 2026 | 22.5 hours per week | 33,366 to 35,235 per annum pro rata | Grade H | Norwich



This is a maternity cover opportunity to coordinate the Parent Champion volunteer programme as part of Norfolk's Start for Life and Family Hub offer.



In this post, you will work within Partnerships, Schools and Communities and you will work closely with our Start for Life and family hub core programme team.





You will work collaboratively with colleagues and other partners to develop and promote the take up of volunteering activities offered to children, young people and their families. The role involves the recruitment, coordinating and training of volunteers.





To be considered for the role, you will be able to build highly effective relationships with a wide range stakeholders and have experience in developing programmes of activities for volunteers. You will be responsible for organising and facilitating meetings including facilitating a peer support network providing volunteers with opportunities to share their experiences, so you must be able to deliver training and organise events.
