Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 15:00

Pay:

12.50 - 13.50 per hour

Role Overview



As Parent Liaison and Administrative Coordinator, you'll be the welcoming face of the nursery, supporting families and staff through clear communication, smooth onboarding, and efficient administration. Your work ensures the nursery operates effectively and families feel valued and informed.

Main Responsibilities



Greet families, respond to phone, email, and in-person enquiries, and resolve parent questions professionally Organise and promote family events like Stay & Play and Parent Evenings Manage the full enrolment process, including paperwork, medical forms, and funding verification Maintain waiting lists, monitor nursery capacity, and coordinate child room transitions Process bookings for extra sessions, meal plans, and holiday submissions Maintain accurate attendance registers, funding claims, and enrolment records Support nursery managers with financial tasks: petty cash, payments, invoice queries, and report preparation Ensure secure sign-in/out procedures for children, staff, and visitors, maintaining safeguarding standards Assist with marketing efforts, social media updates, and community outreach events Track staff training, qualifications, and compliance with policies Provide occasional support in nursery classrooms or outdoor areas during busy periods Work closely with central Head Office and Finance teams

Skills & Qualifications



GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent Experience in an administrative or customer-facing role; childcare setting preferred Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and nursery software Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection Friendly, professional, and discreet approach
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
