Fantastic opportunity to join a growing family business as Park Manager.
This role leads the day-to-day running of our award-winning Exmoor retreat, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong owner support, and a beautifully presented park. As the central point of coordination, you'll manage operations, staffing, safety, and maintenance, working closely with our leadership team. You'll champion clear communication, efficient processes, and a warm, nature-led atmosphere for owners, guests, and colleagues alike.
We're looking for a down-to-earth, personable Park Manager to lead our small, friendly team at Lynmouth Holiday Retreat.
As part of Coast & Country Parks - a family-run business since 1988 and proud runners-up in the Dog Friendly Awards and Visit Devon Tourism Awards - you'll be the go-to person on park: steering daily operations, delivering standout guest experiences, and helping drive the park forward as we continue to invest in and enhance this beautiful location.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
Leading and supporting a small on-park team, including staff rotas and day-to-day management and managing and conducting holiday home sales viewings.
Overseeing reception and ensuring a warm, professional guest experience, plus coordinating housekeeping standards across all accommodation and facilities
Organising owner events and maintaining ongoing communication with owners
Working with maintenance and grounds teams to keep the park safe and well-presented.
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, fire safety, legal requirements and company policies.
Handling daily issues confidently, including taking part in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and Directors, reporting on park performance, budgeting and improvement projects and contributing to park development, influencing improvements and supporting long-term growth.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is:
Organised, calm under pressure and capable of managing a varied workload
Minimum 5 years' experience in park management or operational management roles.
Down-to-earth, personable and happy working in (and leading) a small, supportive team
Proud of offering excellent customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
IT-confident with booking systems and general admin.
Full UK driving licence
Genuinely interested in tourism, travel, and the great outdoors
