We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineering Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting engineering projects and ensuring that designs are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering design software and have a passion for innovative solutions in construction and system design.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of engineering designs using various software tools including SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit. Create detailed schematics and technical drawings to support project specifications. Collaborate with engineers to refine designs and ensure compliance with industry standards. Utilise 3D modelling software such as Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and SolidWorks to produce high-quality visualisations. Engage in graphic design tasks to enhance project presentations and documentation. Support construction teams by providing technical guidance and resolving design-related issues on-site. Maintain accurate records of project progress and assist in the preparation of reports for stakeholders.

Experience

Proficiency in CAD software including MicroStation, ArchiCAD, and SolidWorks is essential. Experience in system design, construction processes, and graphic design will be advantageous. Familiarity with industry standards related to engineering drawings and specifications is required. A proven track record of working on engineering projects from conception through to completion is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential for success in this role.
