The Role

This is a key role at the intersection of engineering, innovation and customer collaboration. You'll help design efficient manufacturing processes and tooling, work with customer design teams to ensure that parts are optimized for product efficiency. With a strong focus on cost reduction and value engineering, you will drive improvements that add real value. You will also coordinate closely with internal teams to adopt best practices, manage part validation and customer communication and support contract reviews - while ensuring full compliance with site procedures and standards.

HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or Foundry Technology 3 years' experience in product development within a related casting industry Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Foundry Technology Knowledge and experience using Casting Simulation Modelling software e.g. Pro-cast
