We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and motivated Activities Coordinator to engage with all of our residents, providing them with a range of opportunities to interact socially, connect and become more active mentally and physically.
Primary responsibilities include the delivery of a programme of social and recreational activities in Princess Alexandra Home.
Experience of delivering successful projects in partnership or within a charity sector is desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
1.Plan a schedule of recreational activities for residents living in the Princess Alexandra Home.
2. Plan, design and implement a range of social activities for residents to engage with others.
3. Deliver meaningful and engaging person-centered activities tailored to meet the needs of all residents.
4. Contribute to effective stakeholder engagement and including contact and communications with family members and carers of residents.
5. Maintaining a record of all activities and interventions in a timely fashion and including inputting onto N-Vision systems (Nourish/ Electronic Care Records).
6. Celebrate National Awareness Days and Seasonal Events with focus on a sense of belonging and community cohesion.
7.Organise and support volunteers assisting with the delivery of activities and including organizing resources and booking facilities.
8.Liaise with the Volunteer Coordinator to recruit volunteers for the Care Home and expand upon the volunteer offer and opportunities for future development.
9. Promote the Princess Alexandra Home and its activities by contributing to social media, our website and other platforms.
10. Collaborate and network with other community groups and external activity providers to enhance the residents' experiences.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.77 per hour
