Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Football Coach to join our coaching staff. This role is integral to the development of our players and the overall success of our session. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of football coaching, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and fun environment for young children.

Duties

Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing training sessions that enhance players' skills and teamwork. Provide individual coaching to players, focusing on technique, strategy, and performance improvement. Help organise team practices, ensuring that all equipment is prepared and available. Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Collaborate with other coaching staff to develop strategies and tactics. Maintain a positive culture that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and respect among players. Assist in administrative tasks related to attendance of sessions.

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football, with a strong understanding of skills and Techniques. Teaching skills that enable effective communication of techniques and strategies to players of varying skill levels. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate athletes both on and off the field. Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with players, parents, and other coaching staff. Ability to analyse player performance data to inform coaching decisions. Commitment to continuous personal development in coaching methodologies and practices.
