Achilleus Security is now recruiting

part-time casual SIA Door Supervisors

who

already hold a Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification (QCF, NVQ or RQF)

, to join our professional and expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a wide variety of high-profile

football matches, stadium events, concerts, festivals and live venues

across

Colchester

, with additional assignments available throughout

Ipswich, Suffolk, Norfolk, , Essex, Greater London, and the Home Counties

.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking qualified, committed, and professional individuals to represent our company and ensure safety, security, and customer service excellence at major public events.

Essential Requirements - YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE:

A

valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence

A

Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety Qualification (QCF, NVQ or RQF)

Aged 18 or over Good spoken and written English Physically fit and able to carry out safety-critical duties (e.g. standing, walking, using stairs) Able to provide a

5-year checkable work history

Legally eligible to work in the UK Available for

evening and weekend shifts

(majority of work)

PAY RATES (Inclusive of Holiday Pay) - Effective from 1st April 2025

For SIA Door Supervisors with Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety Qualification (QCF, NVQ or RQF):

General Event / Football Security:

14.57 - 15.11 per hour

Response Team Roles:

15.69 - 17.25 per hour

All shifts guarantee a

minimum of 5 hours' pay

, even if the assignment finishes earlier.

We also offer:

- withdraw up to 50% of earned pay within 10 days of working No self-employed/UTR roles accepted (due to HMRC rules)

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a key member of our Event Security Team, your duties will include:

Ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and venues Managing access control, accreditation checks, and entry screening Supporting safe crowd movement and monitoring behaviour Responding appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity Enforcing venue rules and safety procedures Providing excellent customer service and public support Communicating clearly with the public, team members, and emergency services
