Job Description

The kitchen staff play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf course restaurant. They are responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes to customers.

Experience is preferred.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Follow established recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency. Ensure that all food items meet quality standards.

Workflow Management:

Oversee the cooking process from start to finish. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow. Prioritise tasks to meet customer demands during peak hours.

Timely Service:

Work closely with Servers to ensure prompt delivery of meals to customers. Monitor cooking times and adjust as needed to avoid delays. Maintain a sense of urgency during busy periods.

Quality Control:

Inspect food items for taste, presentation, and temperature. Address any discrepancies promptly. Uphold high standards of food quality and safety.

Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Keep workstations clean and organized. Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices. Regularly clean kitchen equipment and utensils.

Flexibility:

Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Adapt to changing demands and adjust cooking techniques accordingly.
