EA/Office Manager
to support our leadership and help keep the business running smoothly.
Our retail seafood business is just getting going. With a recently aquired shop in Barnes in South West London, we are seeking to build a niche retail brand with multiple outlets. The EA/Office Manager will provide support to the M.D to help set up and manage the administration for the business, working with the retail manager to get the business on a solid footing with its back office requirements.
This role would suit someone returning to work or looking for flexibility - especially around school hours - who enjoys variety and takes pride in staying organised and one step ahead.
The Role
You'll support the Managing Director and oversee the smooth running of the two businesses. This is a newly created role, which is varied, requiring a mix of executive assistance, office management, and general administrative support. You'll be a key part of the team, trusted to handle confidential matters and contribute to a positive, productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
Helping to Manage the MD's diary, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel
Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting documentation
Handle email and communication on behalf of the MD
Attend and minute key meetings as required
Office Management
Oversee day-to-day running of the office (supplies, maintenance, systems)
Liaise with service providers and contractors
Maintain filing systems, both digital and physical
Manage basic H&S and compliance admin
HR & Team Support
Assist with recruitment admin and onboarding new starters
Visa administration
Maintain employee records and support with timesheets/holiday tracking
Coordinate team events, birthdays, and communications
Act as a point of contact for internal team queries
Business Operations Support
Liaise with suppliers on behalf of the MD
Purchasing of operational and office supplies as directed by the Operations Director.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a similar EA, Office Manager or senior admin role
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Able to prioritise and manage time independently
Professional, discreet and confident communicator
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with Xero, is a bonus
Friendly, down-to-earth, and happy to pitch in as needed
