An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for the right person to join our team as a Nursery Assistant, providing support to our Child Care Practitioners and children over the lunch time period.

The hours are 10.00 - 3.00 Monday to Friday all year round.

A brief description of your role and responsibilities will include;

- following rigorous safeguarding procedures to keep the children in your care safe at all times
- displaying an exceptional level of organisation and hygiene and actively encouraging children to follow suit
- acting as a good role model to children, encouraging their social interactions at lunch time
- closely following allergy and dietary requirements
- assisting our Early Years Educators to provide fun and engaging activities for children at this transitional time of the day
- consistently providing a high level of care to children

Essential criteria:

- A passion for providing care and supporting children's development
- The ability to work with a fast-paced team
- DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a current DBS

Desirable criteria:

- A recognised child care qualification

Pay: 15,925.00-16,055.00 per year
