Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces during scheduled shifts. Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure facilities are fully equipped. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the facilities team for swift resolution. Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed during each shift. Assist with light custodial duties as needed to support overall facility upkeep.

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles; prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, mops, and scrubbers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks for the duration of the shift. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within the scheduled timeframe. Prior experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
