About the Role
We are seeking a
dynamic, results-driven Events Sales Specialist
to join our team on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you'll convert enquiries into confirmed bookings for our premium events venue -- from weddings to corporate functions and private celebrations.
Working within a sales team, you'll manage the full sales cycle: from enquiry handling and venue showrounds, through to contract negotiation and conversion, before handing over to our events team for seamless delivery.

What You'll Do
Manage Enquiries:
Handle all incoming client enquiries (phone, email, and web) with professionalism and speed.
Venue Showrounds:
Conduct engaging, tailored showrounds that highlight the venue's unique features and charm.
Proposals & Quotations:
Create bespoke proposals that align with client needs and sales goals.
Sales Conversion:
Follow up with potential clients to build trust, negotiate terms, and close bookings.
Contract Management:
Issue and finalise contracts, working with the General Manager to balance client expectations and budgets.
Collaboration:
Handover confirmed bookings smoothly to the Admin Assistant and events team for flawless execution.
Reporting:
Track enquiries, conversions, and sales performance, contributing to revenue forecasts.
What We're Looking For
Sales Expertise:
Proven experience in sales -- ideally in hospitality, venues, or events -- with a strong track record of conversions.
Presentation Skills:
Confident in leading showrounds and delivering compelling presentations.
Client Focus:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
Organisation:
Skilled at juggling multiple leads and priorities while keeping high-value opportunities in focus.
Results-Driven:
Motivated by targets and achieving outstanding results.
Flexibility:
Able to work evenings/weekends when required (e.g., showrounds, showcases).
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable using CRM systems and office software (Word, Excel).
Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant sales or events role preferred.
