Where we're at
We're looking for an office based
Accounts Administrator who's
detail-orientated and proactive. The role combines core finance administrative duties with broader responsibilities providing an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills.
What you'll be doing
You'll be:
day-to-day accounts
activities.
Processing
purchases and sales invoices and daily bank transactions
Paying supplier invoices
and maintaining supplier relationships.
Issuing customer statements
and
chasing payments
to ensure healthy cash flow.
Performing
bank reconciliations
for GBP & Currency accounts
Preparing and submitting
VAT returns
.
Supporting the Finance Manager and wider team with ad hoc accounting or reporting tasks.
What we're looking for
You don't need to tick every box, but we're ideally looking for someone who has:
No more than
20 miles
to travel to Chichester, West Sussex, as role is office based.
A
qualification in bookkeeping or accounting
Previous experience in an accounting environment
Knowledge of Sage
is an advantage
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and accuracy.
The ability to
work independently
and take ownership of tasks.
A calm, methodical approach and genuine pride in getting things right.
Experience in
Sage 200
.
Managed
accounts payable
(AP) or
accounts receivable
(AR).
Familiarity with
MS Excel
, including functions like VLOOKUP/pivot tables.
The ability to be
proactive
in learning new processes.
