QUALIFIED FLORIST: 16 HOURS PER WEEK OVER 2 DAYS - MAY INCLUDE SATURDAY (2 positions available)

Bromborough Flowers are looking for an exceptional candidate to fulfill our current role, and compliment our existing team of qualified florists.
This role is for a fixed 16 hours per week, over 2 days. Working hours and days will be discussed at interview with some flexibility for the right candidate.
JOB ROLE
We are now looking for a strong addition to join our floristry team, and a person who is creative, friendly and hardworking with proven experience and respective qualifications in retail floristry, ideally NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
You must have hands-on and have demonstratable experience in all aspects of funeral and wedding piece work, as well as day to day arrangements and very strong customer service skills.
This role is permanent subject to satisfactory completion of a 6 month probationary period and meets NMW based on successful applicants age.
The role will also require additional overtime during busy periods such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas periods where the candidate will be fully expected to be available for work.
The role will focus on working within the shop, serving customers and taking orders, both in person and over the phone so a good professional and friendly telephone manner and approachable personality are essential, as well as being able to accurately record information correctly.
The role will also involve general housekeeping duties of the shop and working areas, and elements of sales handling such as till work.
As a main part of your role you will be responsible for creating bespoke bouquets, vase arrangements, everyday plant gifts, funeral work and wedding flowers for customers and business clients as required and directed by the business owners. The role will involve plenty of co-working with other members of staff so excellent communication skills are essential.
TYPE OF EMPLOYEE REQUIRED
We're looking for an experienced and qualified florist, with excellent customer service skills, be comfortable engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner on both the telephone and in person ensuring our customers remain valued at all times and we hold the highest levels of customer service we can.
The ability and flexibility to work overtime during busy periods is essential.

The ideal team member will have a strong knowledge of flowers and plants and their day-to-day care, an eye for detail, naturally creative and be happy to be involved in supporting the business and feel part of the much valued local community.
You must be able to work to a high standard under pressure during busier periods, have a friendly outgoing personality, great sense of humour, presentable, punctual and be able to make a good brew!!
