## Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Server and Barista to join our team on Thursday, Friday, Sat and Sunday at our new cafe on the outskirts of Littlehampton. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring they have a memorable dining experience.

## Duties
- Greet customers warmly
- Present menus and help customers select food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Serve food and make drinks promptly and efficiently
- Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction
- Upsell additional items when appropriate
- Handle payments and operate the cash register
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

## Skills
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting

- Barista skills
- Proficiency in food safety practices
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of kitchen operations to communicate effectively with chefs
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with food preparation processes is beneficial
