We are a well-established reputable private practice based in The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield. Our practice carries out Invisalign, Dental Implants, Sedation as well as both private general dentistry and monthly payment plans (Denplan).

We are seeking an enthusiastic dental nurse to join our dynamic team of highly skilled and qualified nurses and dentists. The right person could be you!!

We are fully computerised and have embraced the latest digital technology as part of our organisation and I Tero Scanner.

Qualifications and Skills

NVQ/National certificate or equivalent qualification in dental nursing GDC registration or, currently enrolled in a GDC accredited training course

Responsibilities and Duties

Key responsibilities include:

Full Spectrum of dental nursing abilities Aiding in the smooth running of central decontamination processes Team worker working positively towards efficient running of the surgery Ability to take responsibility and interact with the patients Punctuality Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression Answering the telephone and dealing with patient enquiries in a positive, booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records in an efficient and friendly manner Administrative duties as and when required Understanding and complying with regulation and legislation relating to our field of work Supporting the Practice Lead and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice Making patients aware of dental services Handling payments Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality

Person specification

Evidence of professional indemnity Well-developed experience of cross infection control including the decontamination process Evidence of teamwork within the dental team Evidence of excellent chairside support skills and patient care (training can be provided and supported) Strong team working qualities, assertive and self-confident individual Ability to perform under pressure Excellent organisational skills Open, reflective, warm Enthusiastic and self-aware Creative and flexible Team focused Reliable, adaptable and dependable
