Part-Time HR Manager (20 hours per week)
Location: Crayford, Kent
Hours: 10am - 2pm, Monday to Friday (flexible for the right candidate)
Salary: 24,000 - 27,000 (actual), based on 20 hours/week - equivalent to 48,000 - 54,000 FTE
Start Date: ASAP

As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a dedicated HR Manager to help us support and develop our team across the business.

About the role:

This is a newly created, standalone role - an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to shape and lead the HR function from the ground up. You'll work closely with senior management to ensure staff are properly inducted, supported, and developed across all departments.

We're not just looking for an administrator - we're looking for someone who will take ownership of HR and help build a strong and positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and manage structured onboarding and induction processes Create and oversee training and development initiatives Support managers with performance reviews, probation processes, and appraisals Advise on employee relations issues (e.g. absence, disciplinaries, grievances) Maintain HR records and ensure policies and contracts are up to date Drive employee engagement and support internal communication Ensure compliance with employment law and best practice

What we're looking for:

Proven generalist HR experience, ideally in a small to mid-sized business CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law Proactive, personable, and confident in advising and influencing at all levels Strong organisational and communication skills Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, operational environment
