Part Time Night Hostel Support Worker 24 hours

Hull Resettlement Project is a homeless charity which was established in the City over 30 years ago. The Organisation is contracted by Hull City Council to provide Housing Related Support in a hostel setting with accommodation across 4 sites - all hostels in or in close proximity to the City centre. All sites have free car parking for staff.

24 hours per week participating in a 7-day shift roster including 12-hour shifts (6pm-6am), you would be expected to work 2 weekends in each month across two hostel schemes. Additional hours would be on offer to cover for leave. Good prospects for a full time contract if requested in the future.

Midweek hourly rate is 14.60 which includes shift allowance, Saturdays 15.33 and Sundays 16.06.

Good annual and public leave entitlements starting at 26 days annual holidays with 8 bank holidays, after 5 years 29 days annual holidays

A Scottish Widows stakeholder pension scheme operates. The employer makes an 11% contribution on contracted hours, the employee's contribution is optional/voluntary.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of working in a supported housing/hostel environment and your application should demonstrate that you fulfil the above criteria.

All staff are required to have or apply for an enhanced DBS; the cost will be met by the Organisation.
