Job Description

Part time Night Porter required to work at the Lincoln House Hotel Cardiff. The hotel consists of 21 ensuite bedrooms as well as a private two bedroom apartment.

Experience preferred. Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the safety and security of all our overnight guests. Duties to include check in (any late arrivals), taking payments, responding to email enquiries, printing guest invoices and payments reports, locking up car park and the public facilities, Security walks / checks, responding to any guest requests during the night, preparing fruit salad for breakfast service, brewing coffee, ensuring dining room is set up ready for breakfast service. Ensuring all kitchen surfaces are wiped clean using the appropriate cleaning spray, empty kitchen bins, wash up and dishes before the Breakfast cook arrives.

Please note: to be considered for this position must be able to work every Thursday, Friday, Sunday night (set shifts) starting at 10pm finishing 7.30am. There is an option to start at 6pm on a Sunday evening should you want the extra hours which would take it to 32.5 hours per week
