Job Description
We are a 4privately owned Hotel on the outskirts of Swindon with 108 bedrooms, 3 Bars, 2 Restaurants, extensive Conference & Banqueting facilities, Leisure Club & Secrets Beauty Salon.
We are a busy venue with corporate delegates, leisure guests, celebrations events, Christmas Parties, Weddings and much more. We are currently looking for a Part Time Night Porter to join our team.
You will be required to work at weekends mainly Fri & Saturday nights (with flexibility to take on occasional additional shifts in the week). Shift hours will be 11pm - 7am
Requirements:
To have excellent customer service skills To ensure that Conference and Banqueting rooms are set to the required layout inline with the Night Managers instructions. To ensure cleanliness of public areas are kept to a high standard To deliver Room Service to guest rooms To assist guests with luggage To be responsible for the security of Hotel and guests overnight, ensuring safety of staff and guests at all times. Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety, Fire Safety at all times and take any action as is necessary. A keen eye for detail The ability to work, understand and adhere to four star standards The ability to work alone and as part of a team Good communication skills Exceptional organisational skills Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable and attentive.
